Hello.  My name is Fran King.  I have been a part of Prairiland ISD for 40 years–well that is, if you count the 12 years I spent as a student at Prairiland!  I have worked on every campus as a teacher, coach and a counselor.  I serve as the high school counselor now, the District Testing Coordinator and coordinate many other programs.  I am married to Gary King (North Lamar Career and Technology Director).  I have two daughters who are graduates of Prairiland High School;  Johnna, who  has her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from TWU in Denton and is employed by Legend Healthcare, and Jenna who is a graduate of the LPN program at Kiamichi Technology Center in Hugo.  She is currently working as an LVN at Paris Regional Medical Center and enrolled in the Paris Junior College RN program.
